Amer Shomali (Arabic: عامر شوملي, born 1981) is a Palestinian interdisciplinary visual artist who uses conceptual art, painting, digital media, films and comics to explore Palestinian sociopolitical issues and revolution iconography.

Amer’s short film Dying of the Light was screened in the UK, Belgium, Lebanon, and Palestine. He was also co-director and animator of Animated Concerns, the animated TV series, in Palestine from 2006-2007.
Such as using classic national symbols and iconic images (i.e. kaffiyeh), and sometimes by only replicating iconic revolutionary Palestinian posters that were produced in the ‘70s and ‘80s.
