Francisco Álvarez (December 26, 1892, in Buenos Aires – April 21, 1960, in Lanús) was an Argentine film and theater actor, notable for his work during the Golden Age of Argentine cinema.
Francisco Álvares (c. 1465 – 1536–1541) was a Portuguese missionary and explorer. In 1515 he traveled to Ethiopia as part of the Portuguese embassy to emperor Lebna Dengel accompanied by returning Ethiopian ambassador Matheus.
