John Goodrich (1722–1785) was a Virginia-born British planter, merchant shipper, and privateer. Uncommitted at the beginning of the American Revolution, he was recruited by Lord Dunmore to become a Loyalist privateer.
John Zacheus Goodrich (September 27, 1804 – April 19, 1885) was an American politician who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives and the 24th lieutenant governor of Massachusetts.
Goodrich was born on January 7, 1836, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts to John and Mary A. (Blake) Goodrich. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1857 and studied law in the office of Norcross & Snow in Fitchburg.
