Katherine Jiménez is a dynamic force in the world of dance – an educator, performer, choreographer, and community advocate known for blending Afro-Latin roots with classical and contemporary styles.
Sebastian Garcia (Bronx, NY) began his formal dance training at the Harlem School of the Arts under the direction of Aubrey Lynch. He was later accepted into the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School under the direction of Cynthia Harvey.
Isabel Wallace-Green (Houston, TX) began her dance training at Houston Ballet Academy. She graduated summa cum laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in Dance with a dual degree in Dance and African/African American Studies.
Reina de Mi Tierra 2011, the 4th competition, will be held in October 2011. Where Mireya Levi, from Tulcán will crown her successor as Reina de Mi Tierra 2011.
