Luis Aguilar Manzo (29 January 1918 – 24 October 1997) was a Mexican actor and singer. He was also known as El Gallo Giro, and was noted for his performances in films as El 7 leguas (1955) and El látigo negro (1958).
Aguilar was born in Long Beach, California. [1 ] He graduated from La Mirada High School. [2 ] He attended Rio Hondo College for two years, playing on the men's soccer team in 2002 and 2003.
He was reappointed by President Barack Obama in 2011. At the time his tenure ended he was the eight longest-serving Commissioner in SEC history and was one of only three Commissioners to have been nominated by two U.S.
