Percy Herbert (31 July 1920 – 6 December 1992) [1 ] was an English actor. He worked predominantly from the 1950s into the 1970s and became one of the most recognisable faces in post-war British cinema.
The Right Reverend Percy Mark Herbert KCVO (24 April 1885 – 22 January 1968) was the first Bishop of Blackburn from 1927 [1 ] then Bishop of Norwich from 1942 [2 ] to 1959.

Herbert was made an ensign in the 43rd (Monmouthshire) Light Infantry in January 1840, serving with them in the war on the Xhosa (1851–53), the Orange River Boers expedition, and the battle of Berea.
