Joseph BurrTyrrell Elementary School is an elementary school in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, Canada, and is named for the explorer Joseph Tyrrell.
James William Tyrrell was a Canadian topologist and author. [2 ] Like his older brother, Joseph Burr Tyrrell, Tyrrell went on physically demanding expeditions to Canada's sparsely settled, rugged North.
Tyrrell’s find was named Albertosaurus sarcophagus (“flesh-eating lizard from Alberta”) in 1905 by American Museum of Natural History palaeontologist Henry Fairfield Osborn.
